Welcome
Eremitas Familia Minima
The Minims represents anyone and everyone who is on the path of humanity-awakening.
The solitary contemplative life is our greatest hope for addressing the central challenges of our times – one heart and mind at a time.
This path is steeped in western and eastern mysticism, western science, and the arts of personal growth and psychotherapy.
Inspired by various traditions depending on each person’s sensibility, we honour among others the Franciscan, Carmelite, Celtic, Druid, Wiccan, Indigenous, Buddhist, and Hindu paths of wisdom.
The Minim Way is deeply meaningful in service to humanity and during our greatest hour of need.
As an Order the EFM is a secular, independent, and non-denominational society. We are in affiliation with the Celtic Community of Christ Our Hope, Sydney, and Bishop Peter Johnson.
The Minims is registered as an independent Order under the Constitution of the Australian Church of Antioch (ACoA). The ACOA is a registered religious body under Australian law.
Our founders are Hon Rev Dr Joseph Randolph Bowers, St Clare Cottage, and Rev Dr Dwayne Andrew Kennedy, St Francis Cottage, in the beautiful mountains of NSW, in Armidale.

We do not have the personal capacity to carry memberships forward per se, and we are waiting on the universe to bring people into the circle as such who can help out. If you really wish to contact us, please view the whole site and buy The Book of the Minims (at minimum, click on book title :)). When you know what you are on about, send an email to Dr Bowers at minims@abilitytherapyspecialists.com.au.
